Sometimes, it's surprising when things work out. You get the request to assist in recovering / reconstructing some data from an old database application. One does their research, takes precautions by imaging the disk before making changes, then executing a plan to reconstruct data that had been inaccessible for 3 months.

This data was critical business data that the client had gone without. Why? We come to find out that he had tried a number of other service providers in the area until he found us. Others either wouldn't touch it or couldn't solve it. We did it in a 24 hour turn-around. The database is up and running again and the client can continue business.
