Earth Friendly Computing

Some worry about carbon footprint, others about sustainable materials. Have you ever considered your turnover of computers and their disposal? Computers have batteries, lead, and other toxic substances and disposing them requires proper recycling. Even then, some materials can't be recycled. How do we do our part too be more Earth-Friendly then? Buy good computers (not box-store sales). Regular maintenance will keep them running smooth and extend their useful life. Extended life means less turnover and less disposal. Earth Friendly can simply mean taking care of the assets you spent good resources to acquire. Have your machines maintained regularly.
